WHO CAN I GET TO PAY MY BILLS?
63THANK YOU NANCY PELOSI
for promising to give me free health care. I've been paying $15.00 at the clinic any time I need to go there, and now I won't have to.
You know, I can buy 3 lunch specials at the Chinese restaurant with that $15.00 you're saving me. Or one large pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese.
I really really want to be an entrepreneur. Right now I'm working in a restaurant and I know how I can make a better one.
Right now I have to work nights, and I don't like it. I only get to hang out two nights a week, and that's not fair. And never mind girls, they don't want a boyfriend who works nights.
I'm smart. I know I can run my own business. All I need is a chance.
This is the way I see it. If I had a year off work I could make all the plans. That's all I need, just a year, and I can figure out what I want to do. I'm thinking about starting my own franchise. Maybe something like McDonald's, but I'd sell hot dogs, too.
I think I can take the best from each fast food place and put it under one roof.
Maybe I can have hot dogs and hamburgers and fried chicken and tacos. Something like that.
But my parents won't let me move back home. They say they like their routine and don't want me to come back and disrupt them.
Can you pass a law that says they have to let me move back home?
I'm only 32 years old and I've been wasting my life with stupid jobs and having to pay rent and all that.
What I'd really like to be is a photographer, like a paparazzi. That looks like fun.
Just because I didn't graduate from high school or go to college, why do I have to suffer?
If you can't make my parents let me move back home, could you make a law that the government has to pay all my bills until I get a business going? I mean, not just paying the rent on my crappy room in the boarding house, but a good place to live.
I've heard on TV that the government owns most of the houses in the whole country. Why can't you give me one of those?
It's not fair that I have to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and I ain't got anything to show for it. I keep changing jobs, trying to get a better one, with more money and not as much work, but the whole system stinks. I don't like bosses. I want to be my own boss.
I like this socialist socialism stuff. Why should the rich people have everything? I want my share. I'm 32 years old and it's about time the government starts taking care of me.

Get at the end of the line, I am over fifty and think I should be taken care of first.
I want a retirement home in warm weather overlooking the water.
I also believe I am entitled to a big screen TV because my eye sight is not as good as it use to be and it will help me see the hockey puck as I watch televised hockey games.
Since warm weather affects me I want and electric golf cart to transport me when I play golf.
And since I need to exercise I want the government to pay country club dues for me.
my sympathies with you shiela, but do you really need them?
Sheila,
Greaat hub here. As Pop said above, this is the type of citizen voter Barry wants. Somebody completely ignorant and willing to vote for whomever will give them the most for the least amount of work!!!
Sheila, I am LMAO. You nailed that one right on the head. You could be called a wannabe Obamaite to be put in a category of those that are too artistic or thoughtful to work hard at a real job. I mean why not let the government pay your bills! Very clever hub!
LMAO, The thing is there are people out there just as you described.Only difference is they learned the system and are reaping rewards hardworking middle-class americans paid for.
Yes, there are many of those people, and they are sitting back while we, small group, are trying so hard to work, pay our bills, and get involved in making sure the Constitution is being followed, however with that said, I also can't see very well and that big screen TV does sound like something I might need, maybe since all the cable companies have gone digital, the government can use that extra money they are not using to pay for that farmers land, they should buy us all new digital large screen TV sets? Gosh so much to think about?
Based on your dislikes of supervision and instruction on the job, I suspect that you will choke on the bit of the government's bridle. Oh and here's a free tip...if you have a choice between riding a barrel over Niagara Falls or going into the restaurant business...take the barrel. The potential that you will survive is much higher. Give some thought to finding a really good street intersection where you can sit with a cardboard sign that says "NEED TO TAKE A YEAR OFF...CAN YOU HELP? The odds are probably in your favor that a democrat will come by and give you some bailout money. Never forget this use to be the land of opportunity but Obama is changing it to the land of entitlement. We all gonna get a big check! WB
Sheila - That was a funny writeup about how bad things have become. Sticking to "funny" ... When I was one time stuck in a hospital bed, I had a roommate. He was a Jewish guy who had been born and raised in Egypt, and if that was not odd enough, he had been a cab driver in NYC. His name fit nicely, as well - Tocky Nicholas. So you know now that he was as crazy as can be. The two of us devised a plan to get rich. We would dress in hospital scrubs, drape a mask around our neck and stand by the entry to the freeway right next to the hospital. One of us would hold the money bucket, and the other would wave a big cardboard sign. The sign would say, "Will operate for food." (No point in pestering the government for a handout, right?)
Gus :-)))
This would be even funnier if it weren't so sad. I know folks exactly like theone you portrayed!
Sheila - a great mockumentary!

This is exactly the type of citizen Obama and company are trying to create in massive numbers.
