DID ADOLF HITLER REALLY COMMIT SUICIDE?

By sheila b.

THERE IS NO PROOF

HITLER WAS A VERY WEALTHY MAN. SALES OF HIS BOOK EARNED MILLIONS FOR HIM. THAT'S A FACT GENERALLY OVERLOOKED.

I can't find any evidence that Hitler's great wealth was ever found or inherited by his relatives. What his relatives inherited were material things he couldn't take with him if he left Germany.

His last will is very suspicious.

Written and dated shortly before his supposed suicide, he begins by explaining that he is marrying his long-time girlfriend, but he doesn't even put her name in his will.

Then he goes on to say, "She goes as my wife with me into death", and ends his will, "It is our wish to be burnt immediately on the spot...", meaning in Berlin.

Why explain the marriage in the will? Could it have been a message to her family?

...she goes as my wife...

...with me...

...into death...

We have married and have left the country together and won't be back. That's how the message might be read.

Hitler's last will was how he wanted his story to be told.

And that's what has been told, just the way he wrote it.

Supposed witnesses told the story of the last-minute wedding and the suicide and the burning of the bodies.

Yet why should we believe the people who said Hitler killed himself? The very people who were closest to him. Who believed in him and the Nazi dream.

Hitler's nurse was questioned by the FBI after the war ended. She described how Hitler filled a room with his personality, how only he existed when you were in a crowded room with him, that aside from Hitler, nothing else existed.

She went on to explain that the most fascinating thing about Hitler was his eyes, and how even at the end, it was impossible to turn away from his eyes.

And then, to explain why she believed Hitler had killed himself, she told the FBI that Hitler would have known it was hopeless for him to ever build a new Germany.

What kind of answer is that? Who says Hitler cared only about ruling Germany and the world?

In the end, maybe Hitler only cared about saving himself. And he took his girlfriend/wife with him to take care of his daily needs. To cook and clean and do his laundry. A maid.

I remember seeing a TV show many years ago, about Americans digging where they were told Hitler had been burned and buried.

Nothing there.

A body burned in a funeral parlor oven isn't completely burned. The large bones are ground up. If Hitler had been burned and buried, there would have been bones and ash.

At some point the Soviets claimed they'd dug up Hitler's burned body, reburied it, dug it up again, and eventually brought the skull to the Soviet Union.

Not true.

The skull they claimed to be Hitler's has been tested for DNA and it is a woman's skull.

But if Hitler didn't die, where did he go?

How did he get out of Berlin?

Then out of Germany?

Well, quite a few Nazis escaped, some as far away as Argentina, so we know it wasn't impossible.

Would anyone have recognized Hitler without his mustache? Travelling with a wife?

Many years previous to what is said to be Hitler's last will, he had written a detailed will, describing how his estate was to be divided. The so-called last will of his had no such details. Why was that?

Probably, long before the war ended, he'd secured his money outside of Germany, so there was no money for his family.

The people who told Hitler's story about his suicide were people who idolized him.

They would have told the story to protect him in his new life.

And years later, they would have continued to tell the same story to protect themselves for having lied to authorities.

Whatever the truth about Hitler, he's dead by now. But it would be interesting to know how he lived his last years.

Fascinating hub. I never knew any of this. The thought of this monster escaping is too horrible to contemplate.

Good Hub -- the fact that he's gone is the most encouraging -- monster that he was. Best, Sis

Hi Sheila - Things like this make for great reading and get those little conjecture bugs to crawling. You did a good job with that ! ) A published story along these lines is "The Boys From Brazil." I forget who wrote the thing, but it is about Megele's attempt to clone Hitler into, I believe, 21 or so boys. He did it, but his great plan did not work out.

one of his chief allies, and supposed architect of Auschwitz, was the Grand Mufti of Palestine. I believe he was given sanctuary in Egypt. He was even more anti-semitic than Hitler. He went on to mentor Yasser arafat and the Muslim Brotherhood, who continue their war on the Infidels up until today.

Fascinating hub! Some say he escaped to South America. I think right now he's probably in the ninth circle of Hell.

A great debate starter! I have trawled the web trying to find any evidence of who benefited from Hitler's wealth. I have found nothing of interest. So, if he didn’t give the money to others there had to be a reason and the only logical reason is that he needed it for himself. An article by an American journalist lists the banks where the money was kept, but how much? (http://www.fourwinds10.com/siterun_data/business/c It is completely inconceivable that a man so consumed by his own megalomaniacal power would commit suicide. It defies all logic and everything known about Hitler.

Of course the Allies were desperate to show they had killed ‘the beast’ but the Russians, who took the bunker, do not have his body remains. That is a proven fact. So, by the simple application of logic, Hitler escaped, or was helped out of Berlin by the Allies. Either way come the end of the war the man was alive and well and living of his considerable fortune somewhere. The Swiss, because of Hitler’s banking connections, know where but will never tell.

The sums of money he had do not just disappear. Follow the money trail and you find the man but the protectors of great wealth will never let anyone close enough because the forbears of these same people were the ones that financed Nazi Germany. That is how they became super rich – and they are still in control today.

The International Jewish conspiracy was a myth. Work it out, who stood to gain?

I'm sorry but Hitler's interest wasn't just death. He was one of the best leaders of all times. He saved Germany from depression, I'm not saying what he done was right but his interest wasn't just death until late in his reign. But if the holocaust never did happen he would be voted one of the best of all time. Also, I agree with you that Hitler did not kill himself:

- it wasn't his DNA

- his will was never used

- Like you said lots of Nazis escaped so why couldn't he ?

Well that's my view on this subject.

Hitler saved Germany are you bloody mad, for god sake.

My old man met Hitler a few times to get his medals, my father said he was not an outstanding man until he spoke, but to wards the end of 1943 he did not say to much. My father was an officer in the German Parachute regiment and fought right through the war without going home to Germany once. He was caught to wards the last few weeks of the war, his brother was killed three days after the end when a bomb blew up his tank, he was an SS officer.

After the war was over they asked my old man if he like to stay in the British military but he had enough, he was released in 1948.

He went home to Germany in 1999 for the first time back to the old Russian sector to find his sister was still alive and his mother had only died in 1990, he was told by the red cross they had all died.

But the one thing he said which stuck with me, given his time over again he would have shot Hitler himself

Robert, Hitler saved Germany from depression. Without him Germany wouldn't be where they are at the moment.

There are so many lies about that time in history that it's really difficult to know for sure what happened. I suspect he was allowed to leave; he did his job for those for whom he worked, although look what happened to Larry Franklin and others who've also worked for these people.

Regardless, trying to assemble a puzzle with false pieces will not complete it. Most people are so dazzled by Hollywood movies that leave many unanswered questions, that they don't consider asking questions about parts of real life that make no sense.
