GLOBAL WARMING CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE WITCHDOCTOR AL GORE

AL GORE THE WITCHDOCTOR

Al Gore didn't get to be President so he decided to be a witchdoctor. That's the way I see it.

Ancient societies often had their king and their witchdoctor. In many ways, the witchdoctor was actually more powerful because the people believed he was the only one who could save them from the fury of the gods. Even the king must consult the witchdoctor before battles or celebrations or any other planned occasion, in order to determine if the gods were agreeable.

Al Gore wanted to be President of the United States of America. When that was not to be, he didn't give up. If he couldn't rule the U.S., he'd rule the world.

Global warming, now renamed climate change because the globe isn't warming, became his religion. And just like any witchdoctor, he tells his flock to have faith and believe. He's done the studying, he says. No one has to wonder. The climate is changing. Don't argue about it, just believe it.

Of course we might question how well he has studied, since he got a D in natural science when he was in college. But what is there to study? Washington and Tennessee get hot!

In fact, he gets downright angry at nonbelievers. Gore has even said there shouldn't even be any more talk about climate change. Anyone who doesn't believe him is a fool. Ignorant. Worthless.

As far as Al is concerned, he's right and no one should have the temerity to question him. We should all simply let him lead and we will follow. He knows best.

Sounds like a witchdoctor to me.

When you think about it, what else was there for him to do once he was out of government?

Sure, he could have retired to write books. He could have invented a new internet. There's a lot he could have done, but none of it would have brought him the power he wants.

It's actually laughable, but at the same time he's a dangerous man. If he has his way we'll be set back about two hundred years, living the way our ancestors did.

First, he wants to tax us right into poverty, and then he wants to make us subjects of a world government.

Subjects do not have rights. Subjects exist to serve the king. Subjects are in fear and in awe of the witchdoctor.

Yes, that witchdoctor who calls on the gods to make the sun rise every morning and set every night.

If Gore really believes what he's preaching, though, why does he fly all over the world in a private jet? Why does he live in a house much larger than he needs? A house which uses about ten times as much electricity than is the average.

Do all witchdoctors tell their subjects the rules are for the common people but not for them?

I do seem to remember that in some cultures the witchdoctor demanded he be given the best pig or the best chicken or the biggest fish caught, as well as the best fruits and vegetables the people harvested.

Mmmmmm. The witchdoctor, after all, kept the world from exploding and for that he deserved great tribute.

People's offerings to the gods were put into the hands of the witchdoctor. He was the intermediary. Kind of like a stand-in for the gods.

Sounds like Al Gore to me.
